Overview
I led the brand system and creative direction for Medley, a proprietary mobile ordering platform built to scale across multiple verticals—from stadiums and hospitals to corporate dining. The core challenge was balancing two competing ideas: the warmth and familiarity of shared food experiences with the expectations of a modern, tech-forward product.
My role was to define a brand that could flex across audiences without losing its humanity. The final system positions Medley as approachable, confident, and quietly innovative—work that went on to receive a 2025 Hermes Platinum Award for Brand and Marketing.
I designed a custom wordmark that blends familiarity with freshness and established a distinctive purple as the brand’s anchor—approachable but refined. A charcuterie board–inspired mark became a subtle metaphor for variety and abundance, while a flexible, trend-aware color palette ensured the system could adapt across markets, environments, and future feature sets.
UI Guide
I partnered closely with product and engineering to shape Medley’s UI, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and ease of use across a wide range of users. My approach prioritized clean layouts, thoughtful color hierarchy, and approachable typography that felt friendly without sacrificing efficiency.
I introduced micro-interactions, iconography, and subtle motion to add warmth and reinforce a sense of care throughout the experience. The result is an interface that feels intuitive and welcoming—whether someone is ordering from a stadium seat or navigating a quick lunch break at work.
Marketing
I carried the brand through launch and beyond, overseeing how it showed up across marketing, environmental, and experiential touchpoints. From launch kits to wayfinding and ongoing collateral, I ensured the system stayed bold, graphic, and instantly recognizable.
Medley’s signature purple and warm accents create consistency without rigidity, allowing the brand to scale while maintaining personality. My focus was on building a system that felt cohesive and premium—but flexible enough to evolve as the platform grows—reinforcing Medley’s position at the intersection of hospitality and innovation.
